Blair is an artist born and raised in the city of Detroit, who is greatly influenced by funk, rock and roll, and hip-hop. Her purpose is to stay within the integrity of her story, while marrying it to some of the most profound sounds, giving every piece created, real life.
While attending Howard University as a Musical Theater major, she became classically trained, which allowed for her to be versatile through song, stage and dance. Throughout her years in college, she began to create solely from her experiences which aided to produce her vision and sound. By graduation in the spring of 2018, she had already began to place the pieces and ideas behind, “Jezebel”. Though it has not been officially released, Blair has been performing the piece live all over receiving exciting praise and feedback.
Her unapologetic lyrics married with her colorful tones, pair to make the foundation of her powerful brand. The body of work will be greatly influenced by a combination of contrasting genres while illustrating the life of "Jezebel" from notably different vantage points. She aims to represent and denounce labels placed upon women based off of sexual drive and preference. She writes and performs to start a bigger dialogue and be an inspiration to all. Blair plans to use her growing platform to encourage vulnerability.
Blair is set to continue building her influence while developing her own lane to encourage boldness, sexual liberation, and freedom.
